Product tours
Tours are steps someone records, then fixes when the screen changes. Skate needs no steps set up. It plans each step from the screen as it is now, and says done only when the page shows it.
Your users say what they want. Skate does it in your app, then checks it worked.

Hi. Ask me to find or do something on this page. I ask before I delete, send, publish, or change who has access.

Single runs on self-hosted open-source apps we tune on every week, graded by a separate checker that reads saved data. On a new app, expect about 4 in 10 on the first run (21 of 52 on two apps we had never seen), and about 8 in 10 once we tune it for that app.
Teams build these so users can get a task done in their app. Skate does the task itself, in your UI, then checks the page. It does not do everything each tool does; it does the job the user came for.

Support agents answer, or act through APIs you connect for them. Skate acts in the app your user already has open, and asks before it deletes, sends, publishes, or changes who has access.
A copilot needs a tool written for each action you want it to take. Skate uses the buttons and forms you already ship.
Articles say “go to Settings, then Export” and go stale when a button moves. Skate takes the user there and does the task.
Wiring an assistant into your app means building each action, then keeping it working. Skate is one script tag. Remove the tag to switch it off.
Funnels show where users stop, not what they wanted. Skate’s inbox lists what users asked for, how each request ended, and what your app could not do.
Real runs of Skate on Vikunja, a task app. Recorded on Vikunja, open-source, unmodified. Sped up, no sound.
Clicks, fills and navigates your real UI as the signed-in user. No API or workflows to build.
After it acts, it reads the page. “Done” means the change is there.
Skate asks before it deletes, sends, publishes, or changes who has access. Passwords and card fields never leave the browser. Security
